PEEK and PAEK 3D Printing Service

PEEK & PAEK (Victrex AM200) offer significant benefits across industries including aerospace, medical, automotive, oil & gas, electronics, and space exploration. Its high performance, lightweight nature, biocompatibility, low outgassing, and chemical resistance make the PAEK family truly versatile materials for a wide range of applications, both current and emerging.

Now, it can be 3D Printed, bringing the additional benefits of design freedom, shorter lead times and no tooling costs compared to traditional injection molding and machining.

Introducing VICTREX AM 200

We offer PAEK VICTREX AM™ 200 (Polyaryletherketone), PEEK-based material, a high-performance thermoplastic renowned for its exceptional mechanical strength, thermal stability, and chemical resistance. This exciting new material is ideal for applications in the Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, Space and other high-tech industries where performance is critical.

VICTREX AM 200 and PEEK belong to the family of PAEK (polyaryletherketone) polymers. Unlike pure PEEK, which can be challenging to print due to issues like poor interlayer adhesion and delamination, VICTREX AM 200 has been specifically engineered for successful extrusion in 3D printing. This polymer retains the exceptional mechanical strength, thermal stability, and chemical resistance similar to traditional PEEK while being much more print-friendly. AM200 utilizes Victrex's advanced PEEK polymer, known for its exceptional mechanical strength nearly up to 10,000 PSI tensile strength, thermal stability, and chemical resistance. This ensures superior performance in demanding applications.

PEEK Benefits & Advantages

High Performance Material: PEEK is renowned for its exceptional mechanical strength, above 12,500 psi tensile strength, chemical resistance, and thermal stability nearly up to 300C, making it suitable for demanding applications where durability and reliability are critical.

High Thermal Stability: Suitable for applications exposed to high temperatures.

Lightweight: Despite its strength, PEEK/PAEK is lightweight, contributing to fuel efficiency in aerospace and automotive applications while maintaining structural integrity.

Outstanding Chemical Resistance & Low Outgassing: Ideal for harsh environments requiring durable, chemical resistance, and/or restricted outgassing.  Resists a wide range of chemicals, making it suitable for applications in harsh environments such as Space, Oil & Gas, Automotive and
Chemical Processing industries.

Biocompatibility: In the medical field, PEEK's biocompatibility allows for its use in implants and surgical instruments, minimizing the risk of adverse reactions and promoting healing.

Benefits Of 3D Printing vs Traditional Manufacturing: Design freedom, part count reduction, elimination of tooling costs, and reduced long lead times compared to traditional manufacturing.

Have you ever held back from using 3D printing because the available materials and printing technologies don’t meet the stringent requirements of your project?
